Hotkeys are keystroke combinations that allow you to quickly perform common actions using your keyboard rather than mouse clicks. This can help save time in many cases, especially for repetitive tasks such as incrementally increasing or decreasing order prices. Hotkeys are active for the basic Order Ticket and the Depth Ticket.
SILEXX OEMS contains a pre-programmed assortment of Hotkeys that are at your disposal.
The Hotkey view pane lists all the Hotkey configurations loaded on your system and their associated parameters.

C. Assign a Hotkey combination
Note: Hotkeys must be a combination keystroke of Control, Alt, and/or Shift keys as a prefix plus some other key as a suffix. They cannot be assigned a single key keystroke. If you attempt to assign single key, additional Alt and Control keystrokes are automatically added as a prefix.
D. Click OK to accept The new Hotkey will now be listed on the view pane with the programmed parameters.
Example: Utilizing the custom Hotkey we created in the above section "Custom Hotkeys", we would press and hold the Control key and press the number 1 key to populate set the QTY field to 1500 and the Type field to Market.
Select the Hotkey being edited
Note: System default Hotkey keystrokes can be changed to a new keystroke combination.
