This document provides an overview of the SILEXX OEMS Order Ticket Module. Therefore, our intent here is to provide you guidance, on both basic and advanced functionalities.
The basic Order Ticket is the primary tool at your disposal to place equity, option or futures orders. It allows you to quickly create and place orders in as little as two clicks.

An Order Ticket can be opened from any of the following places:
Launching an Order Ticket from the Main Window will open a blank ticket.

In the "Working Order" grid area:
This will open an Order Ticket populated with the exact same account and quantity information except Price, which will be set to the current market Bid, if a Sell order, or current market Ask, if a Buy order.
The Order ticket is then populated with the Ticket information, Last Price, and set as a Buy Limit Order. All fields can still be edited as necessary.
Left-click on the Bid price in the row of the security you want to sell.
The Order Ticket will populate as a Sell Limit Order with the current market Bid price set as the limit price. All fields can still be edited as necessary.
-OR- Left-click on the Ask price in the row of the strike you want to buy
The Order Ticket will populate as a Buy Limit Order for the Strike price of the row you clicked with the current market Ask price set as the limit price. All fields can still be edited as necessary.
Left-click on the Bid price in the row of the Strike you want to sell
The Order Ticket will populate as a Sell Limit Order for the Strike price of the row you clicked with the current market Bid price set as the limit price. All fields can still be edited as necessary.
The Order Ticket displays live quote data for the security entered into the ticket.

Clicking on any price quote will populate the Price box with that quoted price. Click on the Last # to populate the Qty box with that trade size.

Account | Select the account in which the trade will be placed |
Symbol | Type the symbol for the security to be traded. This field will populate automatically in most instances. |
Qty | Type or use the shares or contracts to be traded. A default order quantity can be saved in SILEXX OEMS's Settings Menu. Manually type or use the arrows to change the quantity value. |
Price | Set the price for Limit and Stop Limit orders. Will display "0" and be locked for market and Stop orders. Manually type or use the arrows to change the price value. |
Stop Price | Enter the Stop Price for Stop orders in this field |
Action | Enter the order as a Buy, Sell, or Sell Short order |
Order Type | The types of orders supported are: Market, Limit, Stop and Stop Limit orders. |
Route | Select the route or algorithm for the order |

GTX | Good Till Crossing | An order to buy or sell that is canceled prior to the market entering into an auction, or crossing phase. A GTX order automatically expires immediately prior to the commencement of a crossing session |
GTD | Good Till Date | Lets you select an expiration date and time up until which an order will continue to work |
ATC | At The Close | Enter a Market on Close (MOC) or Limit On Close (LOC) order at the market close of the day |
ETH | Extended Trading Hours | Enter the trade in pre or post market hours |
GTC | Good Till Cancel | The order remains active until canceled |
Field | Description |

Display | Limits how much of your order is displayed on the exchange Order Book (e.g. you want to place an order for 10,000 shares but only want to display 1000 on the order book). Check the box and enter the display quantity |
Locate | Used for short sale, hard to borrow stock. Check the box and enter your approved Locate code |
AON | All Or None. Check the box to place the order as an All-or-None order. The order will fill in entirety (no partial fills) or will cancel at the end of the trading day (option orders only) |
Instructions: Press this icon to hide / show the "Instructions" panel at the bottom of the ticket
The Submit button will become active once the order ticket minimum requirements have been met.
An order confirmation window may appear after clicking the Send button.
Click the Don't show this Dialog check box to turn off order confirmations.
You can also toggle on/off confirmations by going to:
File -> Settings -> Order Ticket
In the General section, check the box for Show Order Entry Confirmation.
Quick Price and Quantity Matching
Click any quoted price to populate the Price field with that price value.
Click Last # quantity to populate the Qty field with that quantity value.
If you have an existing position for the Symbol entered into the order ticket it will show in the lower right corner of the Order Ticket.
If you left click in the bottom right corner of the order ticket where you see your overall positions, this reverse Quantity and Action than that of the existing open position. (I.e. Buy becomes Sell and +200 quantity becomes -200).
